All Out Fitness on Reinventing the Sports Industry with Unified Payment Processing

All Out Fitness on Reinventing the Sports Industry with Unified Payment Processing

Before gyms were shut down in 2020, MPG Powerhouse Fitness was already an established CrossFit gym. With physical training on hold and the entire country stuck at home, the team saw an opening: Filipinos who couldn't go to the gym still wanted to move, and they were going to need equipment to do it. That insight launched All Out Fitness, a training company built to supply the home gym market that the pandemic was rapidly creating.

What started as a response to lockdowns has grown into something more deliberate: a fitness brand operating as one interconnected ecosystem that serves athletes, home gym builders, event-goers, and corporate fitness partners — all under one roof.

Multiple Businesses, One Playbook

All Out Fitness today runs across three distinct categories: gyms, equipment supplying, and sporting events. Each has its own team and point person, but the three are designed to feed each other.

The gym side now operates two branches — the original CrossFit-focused facility, and a newer hybrid gym built around functional fitness and HYROX-style movements. Both serve the same community of athletes that All Out Fitness has cultivated since its early days.

The equipment arm — the Shopify-powered online store at alloutfitnessph.com — sells the full range: barbells, plates, racks, conditioning gear, mats, recovery tools, accessories, and packages. The product line is specifically curated for CrossFit and hybrid training, making it a natural extension of the gym rather than a separate business.

The mission, as the brand states it: to empower people to reach their full physical and mental potential through affordable, top-quality fitness equipment, welcoming spaces, and transformative programs — becoming the nation's most trusted name in gym equipment.

The events vertical is where they get innovative. Equipment that isn’t sold through the store gets deployed at events. These events drive community engagement, which builds brand loyalty, which drives gym memberships and equipment sales. Nothing goes to waste.

Business Expansion

The early days were lean. At the height of the pandemic, the entire operation ran on two employees who handled packaging, orders, and delivery simultaneously.

When restrictions were lifted, the demand for fitness was immediate. Gyms reopened to members who were more motivated about health than they'd ever been. The home gym market that All Out Fitness had been building during lockdowns kept growing, as Filipinos who'd developed workout habits at home continued investing in their setups.

That momentum opened doors to bigger opportunities. All Out Fitness has partnered with Bench Active, supplying equipment for their hybrid race series — the second leg of which has already run, with a third on the way. They're also supplying the Sip Plus Games, a multi-sport event coming in July. And since 2023, All Out Fitness has hosted its own flagship competition: the All Out Games, an annual event for the CrossFit community that has grown into one of the more significant gatherings in the local functional fitness calendar.

The pattern is consistent: show up in the spaces where your community already is, then create more opportunities for them.

PayMongo Across All Three Verticals

All Out Fitness has integrated PayMongo since the online store launched — embedded into the website from the start, handling all incoming payments across the product catalog.

The primary tool for in-person and event transactions is QR Ph, managed through multiple QR codes set up for different revenue streams. One for gym membership payments, equipment sales, and walk-in customers. Events get their own dedicated code, which means the standee travels to every Bench Active race, every All Out Game, and more — ready to accept payments on the spot without any setup friction.

"Everyone's using e-wallets today," Finance representative Jessica notes. "And PayMongo is very useful on our website."

The QR setup isn't just convenient — it's operationally necessary for a business running three distinct revenue streams tracked separately. Multiple QR codes routed to the same dashboard means finance can see what's coming in from memberships versus equipment sales versus events, without manually sorting through mixed records.

Jessica specifically admires the PayMongo dashboard’s flexibility in customizable payout schedules. Previously locked to weekly payouts, All Out Fitness can now choose between weekly, twice-weekly, or monthly settlement — adjusting based on what the business needs at any given time. For a multi-vertical operation with different cash flow rhythms across gym, trading, and events, that control is a big deal.

She also notes the customer support’s quick responses. "Fast to reply," Jessica says — which, for a finance manager running payments across three business lines, is the kind of reliability that builds long-term trust in a platform.

Growths & Gains

The growth plan is structured and deliberate: one new gym branch per year, and four events annually. Both targets reflect the same logic that's driven All Out Fitness since the beginning — expand into sporting communities.

The events calendar in particular signals how far the brand has come from its pandemic-era origins. That position in the community is the brand's most durable asset, and the expansion plan is built around protecting and deepening it.

Payments On-The-Go

All Out Fitness represents a use case that PayMongo's QR Ph infrastructure is built for: a multi-location, multi-vertical business that needs flexible, portable payment acceptance without the overhead of separate systems for each part of the operation.

Multiple QR codes, one dashboard, customizable payout schedules — together, these give All Out Fitness the visibility and control a finance manager needs to run clean books across gym memberships, equipment transactions, and live events. Most importantly, the payment experience for customers — whether they're renewing a gym membership, buying a barbell, or paying an event entry fee — is accessed through the same simple, hassle-free scan.

For a brand whose entire value proposition is about going all out, having a payments setup that removes every unnecessary friction point is a core foundation for mastering their business operations.
